Prepare the saddle by sliding the wing strap to one side.

Take off buckle from wing strap.

Slide wing strap over right wing

Gently pull wing through strap

Make sure all wing and flight feathers are through strap

Once on it should look like this on the underside

Slide wing strap through to other size using surplas.

Gently pull wing through as before.

Adjust excess wing strap so saddle is fitting snuggly under both wings

Make sure it is not to tight on either side, or this will cause soreness

Fasten buckle back on to wing strap

Slide buckle back under label protector

This will ensure she can not peck it loose

Make sure her wings are sitting comfortably over the top of saddle.

Check that it does not dig under her wings, if this is the case you will need the next

size down, as it is a little to broad. Now you can rest easy knowing she is fully protected!

Adjustable Poultry saddle, in chocolate brown.

These are made to order, so if you have specific
measurements,i can make up to your size. Saddles
are invaluable, in the breeding season, especially
with the large fowl, as their weight on the hens back
can cause a lot of damage if you have a very active
cockerel.These are made from a heavy waterproof cotton canvas,with corded backs to aid your cockerel to keep a grip.
Edged with a soft cotton mix binding.Adjustable wing
straps, so can be shortened or lengthened to suit your bird.
All sizes available, from x-large to x-small for bantams.

Saddles come with fitting instructions.
